Travel back in time as the Chorale recreates the tradition of shape note singing. Then trace the roots of folk music though the songs of the Kentucky mountains, highlighted in ballads by Jean Ritchie. Naturally, our musical journey includes offerings by prolific composer, Stephen Foster.
Guest musician Don Coffey accompanies the Chorale on the hammered dulcimer.
